An ode to all the men in my life!--Part 2

Mignon McLaughlin, a famous journalist once said, “A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.” And yes, as  you have guessed this post is about that one person whom I fall in love with every single day….my better half i.e my husband:)

My husband came as a ray of sunshine in my life. The moment I met B I knew that we were going to be friends for a long time. I instantly felt comfortable in his company. Though the days passed swiftly like the Rajdhani express, we slowly fell in love. We enjoyed each other’s company so much that we knew that we wanted this companionship to continue for the rest of our lives. There were difficult days during the time we were convincing our parents for their approval and as our love stood the test of it all, B was the one soul who stood calm through all the calamity and kept me from distress as well.

If you have seen the Tulip trees in Mount Vernon, you will notice that they look narrow yet have a strong profile and are resistant to extremely powerful winds, such is the fortitude of B’s mind. I absolutely adore this quality of his and always wonder as to where he derives such immense strength from. When I worry excessively about some things, he just locks his tender long fingers into my rather lilliputian hands and assures me that everything is going to be okay. Even while dealing with recondite situations, B has always showered me with the experience of being deeply understood, truly supported and being completely and utterly loved.

He’s my trusted confidant, the love of my life and my perfect partner in every little thing that I do. I trust him and love him not because he is my husband but because he is the epitome of everything I wanted in my life partner. My life is a walk on rose petals because I know that my husband is always there to love me back and be present for me no matter what.While life throws us into whirlwind rapids,B is my raft to whom I hold onto dearly.

My dear love, you are my strength, my source of happiness and every perfect rhythm that my heart beats are for you. My love for you is unwavering and ethereal because I finally see that my reality is far far better than my dreams.
